Well here's a good rant I promised...

I went onto CNN.com this evening as I always do the night before APUSH so I have a good current event to share with the class. I came across an article entitled "U.N. approves call for ban on human cloning". I knew right away this would be a good one to get pissed about.

Goodness, where do I begin? I guess I'll start with the fact that you have chosen to remain anonymous. Would you say all of these things to the faces of myself and my astounding friends? Secondly, liberalism is not a disease, it is in fact a set of certain beliefs that I and many others have developed and plan on keeping. I also find it funny how you are obviously religious, yet you use rampant profanity. You better pray extra tonight, God won't be pleased with you. What happened to all people being created equal? Or does that just mean only the people that share the same opinion as you? I'm aware I'm not going to change your faith or beliefs on this subject, just as my "disease" of Liberalism won't be "cured" by listening to Conservative talk radio. That's all I have to say without getting too offensive myself. If you read this, feel free to comment again, and maybe even *gasp* leave your name!

Yes, I see my point exactly. You have been waiting for someone to diagnose you with your disease. I have been so kind and observant to grant you it. Your pompous oblivious conclusion of this country and your religion is obviously leading you to utter dismay. You also can not defend for yourself, yet use statistical politics to argue, and a grand example of someone is well John Kerry. He my friend could not speak for him self; instead he flip flopped like a fish with a hook and his mouth, and always used stats. On the other hand while our Nations President has struggling vocabulary and poor pronunciation, he metaphorically speaking, spoke from his heart and people could understand him. So remove the textbook from your ass, and pay attention. Now that I have you on the same page, I can address you. Please do not consider your self as "us", because I speak to individuals not colts. Also this world is based upon religions, that is what makes our country such a unique melting pot, and transversely also makes it such a chaotic ( ... )

I'd have to say, I very much approve of your attempt to use words and sentences this time. Though you failed miserably, it was a good try.

I have several points for you to consider.

Firstly: Your cowardice is not a detour to the issue when you start by assaulting the character of not just one liberal, but liberals on the whole.

In your original statement you declare that the world is being "putrated" (which I assume is bad) by sins, and that cloning of stem cells is wrong because it's "God's decision when you're supposed to go." I have an idea for you to consider. Look up the first line of the First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America. Tell me what it says. See if ( ... )

you guys are all acting like a bunch of little kids. things are the way they are, and arguing will do nothing to solve the world's problems. but of course, there will always be people who are on a useless struggle to change their opponent's minds. you are wasting your time and energy, for no republican or democrat is going to switch to your "side" when you yell and scream at them. please, just give it a rest.

Yeah yeah yeah we know it won't solve the world's problems. But I personally enjoy arguing (if you haven't figured that out already), so it's not really a waste of time for me. Well, maybe a little. But still, I think it's fun and healthy to argue a little bit.
