5x15: A (Slightly Ridiculous) Dair-Centered Photo-Recap

Here's my wonky attempt at photo-capping the awesomeness that was 5x15. I've (obviously) focused mainly on dair scenes. Anyway, let me know what you think.

As a fairly new viewer and very much enjoying the Dan and Blair storyline, I don't mind indulging in the insanity with you. All those charming clips and videos of them on YouTube had me uncharacteristically watching Season 5. I actually had to Wiki Gossip Girl to get up to speed with the previous 4 seasons. That was a fun recap. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the comment. And, I've actually had a similar viewing experience as you. I watched loyally during Season 1 and then ever since have been really only an occasional viewer (until recently of course). Luckily my sister is a diehard GG fan, so she's kept me at least somewhat up to date on plot lines. But, there's still some times I get lost haha

And I don't really get the Derena thing either. I mean I don't even know where this idea of being in love with Dan came to Serena? o_O And the other thing that is completely weird to me, that why on earth does Serena think that Blair does this because she wants to hurt her or Dan? She knows that Dan is madly in love with Blair, so I don't think it hurt that much him... xD Ofc Serena doesn't know that this kiss was Blair making Dan happy, but still, imo she has no right to be mad at them/Blair...
And I'm gald that I wasn't the only one who noticed that wearing-lingerie-in-front-of-our-friends scene ;)

I think its typical Serena- it always seemed from the beginning that Dan was into her way more than she was into him, and over the seasons its a pattern (similar to, but not as bad as with Ryan and Marissa on the OC)- she was interested in him because he was new, but then as soon as someone newer (or someone that would piss Lily off more) came along, she moved onto them. And then once Dan starts getting interested in someone else, that's when she starts getting interested in Dan again

Thanks for your comment. And YES, Serena's "sporadic love" for Dan makes zero sense to me. Honestly when she confessed that "She loved him, always will" a few episodes back I literally got WTF face. And think that's part of the reason Dan has come off as a little callous towards her, because the timing didn't make sense. (I do still bad for her kooky self though).

Awww, and what an adorable video--thanks for sharing :) I still can' get over how wonderful that eppie was.

I guess everybody had that wtf face during Serena's confession, 'cause I think neither the Derena fans were expecting it xD
