We think the same things about s1, basically. Dan and Blair have always paralleled each other - and Rufus and Lily, so "while Quantam Leaping" is pretty much the funniest thing ever. Lol, I love how the father-son talk about The Girl isn't so much about The Girl at all, but Girl's Best Friend (now all I can think about is Blake lip-syncing to Marilyn Monroe after this ridic recap, so thanks bb). Definitely friending you, if you're down with that, just to read these wonderful things ^_^

And please, friend me :)

Great recap! I especially loved that analysis of what's going through Dan's head as he overhears Blair and Serena fighting.

I'm sure the writers intended to do a Blair/Dan/Serena love triangle early on. I remember all those early Penn and Leighton promo shots and I just knew something was in the works. I wish we could get some new magazine shoots and publicity shots of them, now the show is actually going through with Dan/Blair!

Thank you :)

Yeah, I think the writers really dropped the ball on developing their friendship earlier on. But, I'm glad they waited for romance until season 4, because I don't think they were ready any earlier than that character wise. Plus, it makes their r/ship so much more mature than just silly high school drama.

Chuck clearly hasn't learned his lesson. I'm clearly unsurprised.

Lulz.

Rufus: Well, if there's anything I've learned [while Quantum Leaping] it's that there's usually something beneath the surface with people like that to make them act the way they do.

A Quantum Leap reference? Seriously? Why are you so awesome? Your Time Traveling Humphrey jokes always make me laugh.

Also, I had totally forgotten about the original Eleanor. She certainly was terrifying to look at, wasn't she?

You're awesome :) Thanks for the review. Also, so glad someone else got the QL ref. I used to love that show growing up.

your comments are hilarious and they were so precious. i just want to know when dan can go back to this hair and when blair will go back to her volume hairstyles of s1. honestly, they're so pretty. haha.

I kind of hated his hair in season 1, tbh. I miss his season 4 hair, though I wouldn't mind the long hair if they would just stop putting so much product in it. If you watch videos of Penn talking at the 100th episode red carpet, it doesn't look nearly as bad as it does on the show.

You are absolutely right, it is less the hair than that they matt it down with massive amounts of hair gel. That gives me PTSD flash-backs to the 80s (which makes it clear that I am far too old to discuss teenage series on the net)...

Thank you. Also, yes, people always get on Dan's hair (which has honestly grown on me), but I liked Blair's hair a lot better in earlier seasons, too. Well, at least they can go through their mediocre hair phase together.

Chuck dressed a lot more like a flaming homosexual in season 1. So I guess British works.
