日本で生活していくと決意したからには、日本語への再度の挑戦をしないといけない。これからの人生の賭け事なんだから、真面目にやろう。英語を一切生活から排除し、日本語にだけ頼っていくこと、積極的に人と話し合って、自然な会話ができるようにがんばること、そして日本語で美しい文章が書けるように練習すること。そしてそれらを通して、教養のある面白い人になること。

がんばっている外人としてやさしい目でみてもらうだろう。でもそうでなかろうが、やるしかない。就活が迫ってくるし。正直に言えば心配だけど。

Life without a computer was liberating for the first three weeks. It is now pretty devastating. Can't wait to get my notebook back this Saturday. Gahh.

I had a three-day-old fried rice bento this morning. On Friday night, it was meant to be Saturday's lunch; on Saturday night, Sunday's; on Sunday night, today's.
