C and I decided to get married on Tuesday August 6. We got a restaurant picked out. We will make reservations once we figure out what time we can get married at the court house that day.

I am back. I had a fun trip in Southern California. I will write more about it when I have time and get some rest from the drive.

It has been a busy summer. In a little under 4 months, I would have worked 156 hours of overtime. I been getting a little agitated, tired and frustrated. So forgive if I start coming off a little crossed for the next month or so. I have worked about 80 hours of overtime in the last two months. I work another 8 hours than things should slow down. My job is short staffed for a variety of reasons. However, things should get better when August gets here. I have taken a lot of the overtime as comp time to get time off later. I work weekends now so my social life should slow ( Read more... )

I had a fun weekend seeing the Avenger again and eating sushi with friends. C had to cancel because she realized I was right and she had to admit it. I finally have everything moved into my new place. All I have to do now is clean up the old apartment on Saturday and get a few more change of address and numbers done.

I will start moving tomorrow. I should get my keys around 9:30 am. Then I can slowly move over the next 2 weeks. I am looking forward to my new place. It has a garage and washer/dryer. It is a 1 bedroom 1.5 bathroom town house. It is also in The Woods Apartments.

I got my taxes done by H&R Block. I will be getting $1300 back. I plan to save $600, spend $600 on a tablet and spend $100 on whatever I need for the tablet. I know need to start looking at tablets.
