You know, Phntom Planet is one of those bands that I just can't stand, for whatever reason (except for "Califronia"), but apparently, they've got good lyrics!

yeah, I could definitely see how you may not like Phantom Planet... A lot of my interest in them is nostalgia-related....they do have some really good songs, though--mostly their earlier stuff...so it's possible you just haven't heard the right Phantom Planet yet... if this is the case, I can totally hook you up.
