This entry is dedicated to the ever all mighty and powerful
happysponge.
We'll just start with the beginning of the week, since I'm already forgetting.
Monday: I don't believe that I did much of anything. If there was more to Monday that I remember later, I'll add it.
Tuesday:
This day was very, very packed. I ghosted it through periods 1-5, awaiting my early departure from school to go to teach Junior Achievement Economics to my little 4th graders over at Frankstown. We left earlier than usual today due to the AP Lit testing 9th period, not that any of that mattered. Mrs. Smith managed to get us out at a time that made no difference whatsoever. But whatever, she's just dumb. She probably ruined Sarah, Anna, and I's chances at getting into AP Lit.
So anyway, Sarah, Anna, and I left school and went on over to Burger King to get our lunch. We took it home to Anna's house and spent the time eating, laughing, and bad-mouthing our AP Lit situation. Anna and I made plans to go look at Anna's new house. (It was just the 2 of us because Sarah had a voice lesson to go to really soon after school.) At quarter to 1, we headed over to Frankstown. I taught my little deamon kids, they enjoyed me, and I gave them candy and little eraser race cars. After 45 minutes of teaching, we booked it back over to the school to take the AP Lit admission test.
Dumbest short story I've ever read. Dumbest prompt I've ever answered. I'm talking even dumber than the PSSA's. But whatever, I was creative and I gave it my best try, so if I don't get in, screw AP Lit.
So after strugging through the AP Lit test, Anna and I headed back to both her house and mine to get stuff we needed to go check out her new house. She got the keys and I got my camera. On our way to both our houses, I got an IM from Ashley on my phone telling me we should do stuff tonight. Anna and I agreed, so we called her and then picked her up from her house to accompany us to Anna's house.
We went into Anna's house and I started taking pictures. I swear, the coolest thing in her house is the door knocker:
I told her that whenever they replace the door, she needs to take the knocker off and give it to me. She agreed, and we continued.
We looked at all the rooms, and checked out the awesome loft thingy, then went out back to check out the mad outdoors that her new house posesses. She's got woods in her backyard, so I started walking out into them. Being the losers that they are, Ashley and Anna followed me out. I went over to the wasted firepit and started digging around through the remnants of some teenage fun. There were bottles of hairspray and broken glass all around the firepit. I dug some more and looked to my right a little to find this lovely specimen:
Yup, that's right, a strange yellow jar was residing in Anna's backyard. Do we know what's in it? No. Are we going to find out? Probably not. So we have the picure for posterity.
After looking at Anna's house and laying some definite plans for the night, I went home to scarf a sandwhich before Driver's Ed.
Driver's Ed was as it always is. Boring and stupid. I left early "for undisclosed reasons" and met Anna and Ashley in the parking lot. We went to the movie store to rent a movie, Office Space, and then headed on down to "Murder Central" to pick up Drew.
We watched Office Space, we are, drank, and were merry, and then we went home. That was just my Tuesday.
Wednesday:
Wednesday, I slept til the good ol' hour of 10. I got up, read my Grad Speech once, took a shower, and read my Grad Speech again. Did basically nothing but listen to music and clean until 1pm. At 1, my mom came home, I got ready, and left to present my Graduation Speech. Notice something? I didn't eat lunch before my important speech. But No-No. Anyway, I arrived at the school and waited about 5 minutes and talked to
leticia530 before Mrs. Mary McCloskey, my hero, called all the 1:30 people to go to their rooms.
I arrived in my room to find a herd of men talking with Mr. McCloskey. I plowed through them and set up. My teachers were Ms. Shuma, Mrs. Seymour, and Mr. McCloskey. Mr. McCloskey's great. He told me not to be nervous, and then at the end of my speech, he asked me some great questions. I think I passed.
After doing my own, I left and changed and ran into
girty923 dressed up for
corkyjoshua 's Grad Speech. I decided that I had to see it, so I sat in and watched. His speech was good. After that, I ran into Sarah and she was nervous so I walked her to her room and bid her good luck.
After finally getting myself all ready, I put on headphones and walked over to the Junior High. I loved it. It was so nice out. It left great to be walking in the actual sun again.
I spent a few hours in the Junior High and then went home for an hour or so. I talked to
girty923 online and we both decided we should so something. We got
corkyjoshua and decided that since it was still such a beautiful day that we would go feed ducks in Roaring Spring. Britta and Josh came and picked me up and we went on down. We had so much fun feeding the ducks the small part of a roll of bread that we had originally, we decided we should buy more. We went to a Giant Eagle and found the cheapest bread they had, priced at 69 cents. We decided that since it was so cheap, we'd buy a roll for each of us. The only problem was that each roll was about the size of my arm. So, loaded with bread, we went back to feed the ducks. Boy, those ducks loved us. They were pretty, too.
We finished our bread, and went in search of Ritchey's Ice Cream. We ended up driving around for a while, but made it there where I had some of the best ice cream I've had in a good long time. Best since Downingtown. After eating, we went back to Britta's house where we met up with Lindsey and played Cranium. After that, I went home.
Thursday: I woke up at 12 and then gave my dog a bath and a haircut. Around 3 or 4 o'clock, my mom and I went out to run some errands and we decided to go to Pine Ridge Bridal Outlet. We spent a few hours there laboring over dresses until I finally found one. We bought it. I have my prom dress! Ask for a picture and I'll show you, I just don't want to post it here.
Friday: Friday, I didn't really do anything until 3 or 4 or something when my mom and I went out to run errands. We went to Walmart and a few other places, then came home. I talked to Ashley online and she told me she was going to be stopping over at my house with some of her friends from Pittsburgh. They came over and I decided I was going to go with them. We went to Legion Park, where we saw many people we knew playing Ultimate Frisbee, then drove around, went to her house to pee, then drove around more, went to Sheetz, drove around more, went to Natalie's house, and then finally came home. Twas a very interesting day.
Saturday: Woke up super early and got in a car to drive down to my grandfather's in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. 3 hours later we made it, ate, and then had some troubles. I ended up spending an hour and a half listening to music and walking around the little retirement village thing. Wasn't a pleasant day.
Sunday: Woke up, got some crappy breakfast from a restaurant there that used to be good, went to the cemetary, and then came home back to his house for an hour before getting back in the car to go home. Spent 3 hours and 45 minutes in the car becuase we missed a turn, and then finally made it home. Found out my SAT scores, too. I'm happy with them.
Finally, I made the resolution that I would go play Ultimate Frisbee after school. There's a schedule up in the band room, so I figured, why the heck not. What could they do, say no to me? I need more friends, anyway. I just have to wait til it's less wet, or else my mom has told me she won't take me home if I'm muddy.
What a crappy, yet not, vacation.
