Not sure if the battle's lost, or won. Today I have been running errands in prep for the Florence trip. Sadly enough I couldn't find any sandals, but i treated myself to a Nutella milkshake at Moo-moo's.

I can't believe my time here in Oxford is about to be over. Tonight I watched Rent with my friends Aoife and Antoinette (and Aoife's little bro Gavin). We said our goodbyes and I'm left feeling kind of sad. I'll see Aoife for lunch tomorrow before she and her brother head to London and eventually back to Ireland for summer holiday. I just researched for my shakespeare essays the meanings of character names in Lear. Turns out Oswald (variant of Oswaldo) means DIVINELY POWERFUL.

I drive a station wagon whose name means DIVINELY POWERFUL.

Now if it were just amphibious and could take flight...I'd totally be awesome. :)

The weather's been pure rotten today, but at least I didn't have anything to do but Macbeth rehearsal and more QT in the RadCam. I am going to miss the libraries here as much as I bemoan how much effort and time it takes to track down your books for any given essay ( Read more... )

In other news, I got a package today from home and I'm REALLY excited about the DVD in it. But I should go work. I'm here until 10 and then as a reward, I'm going to watch that DVD.
