I am soooo late to the party here, and there aren't any more accolades to give other than what has been bestowed in the comments. But I just wanted to say how much I appreciated how you handled the internal monologue in this chapter. That, some sassy Chocolate Love, and perspective from a totally lovable, bespectacled AP made my week.

That cracks me up. ^_^ I don't think that I'd ever write Cullen and Ryan together in that special latte-making-way, but I love the friendship dynamic. And for as fun as Ryan is to write, handling his internal monologues about anything serious is proving difficult so I'm thankful that it's well received. Thanks ^_^ <333

RFLMAO! I think that's how I'll have to refer to love affairs from now on.

I can imagine how writing The (Totally Serious, Dude!) World According to Lochte™ would be, like, a constant challenge. Especially with a bastard BF, an avenging Kyle-angel, brooding Longhorns, and a couple of concerned Vanderkaays running around in that curly head.

Good on Ryan for finally owning up to his shit and then for starting the process of getting OVER it. I hope his happy ass doesn't backslide & go traipsing off to B-More now - actually, I hope that if he tries that Matt & Cullen will sit on him until he sees reason. *g*

And good on you for not making Erik some one-dimensional dick. It totally elevates the story.

This is fantastic. Just the whole thing, all the way through. But what it truly amazing is that the role fic has this like, veil of sensitivity and even though Ryan is properly characterized as being more emotional, you ( unlike many other authors) still had him express himself and do and say things that allowed everyone to still remember, he's a guy. Its just so.... i can't even express how amazing it is, and I can't wait to see what happens next!
