My rant for the evening.

I know that Pet Project isn't perfect. I realize that it's been going on for seven years. I realize that I overestimate my own writing timeline and I'm a horrible judge of when things will happen in specific chapters (I think they will happen in the next chapter but they end up happening four chapters later).

I agree with you on "bah!" to anonymous comments, they are generally not helpful.

And for what my opinion is worth I don't see any decrease in the quality of the story telling etc

it's funny how one negative review can get us down despite hundreds of fantastic ones.

I think the fact you have fan artists illustrating this fic must mean something positive. =) No one is happy with their stories.

I do love the artists. It stills stuns and absolutely delights me when I see the artwork.

Forget them. You are an amazing writer and a talented creative being, if they can't see past their shallow skin then that's their problem. While one bad reader can make for a ruined day, the rest of us who have grown with this story, who love it, adore it, and drool over it... and dream maybe... err... not me that is >.> NOPE... but those who appreciate your dedication, we'll be the ones still here at the end, still....hahaha...cheering for another update. XD

You wrote this work, because you wanted to, not for the reviews, not for the fans, but because it was your plot bunny and you wanted it to grow. I'm glad it's taken 7 years, really, because it's been such a great journey. Most fanfictions are not. Their short lived flings, with little or no thought. This is huge reason why this is the only fanfiction I still read after 2 years of backing away from FF. Because it's more than FF, it's a novel, it's a love story, it's a ( ... )
