design school is like, a breeding ground for bo-ho kids. my friend goes to one in LA, and the and pictures i see and the stories i hear are pretty awesome. if i anything more than a 'recreational' designer, i'd definitely consider it.

"paralytically inept"--i love it. audreysauce for the win.

Many geeks I know in college felt just like this. Like they didnt fit in with the dorm people.

Find the geek club. (RPGs, Anime,) Join it. That is why I loved college. Geek boys will love you.

Or theatre sometimes is a good haven.

You're not alone. I feel exactly the same way (and it sucks cuz I feel like I get along better with people twice my age than those in my own age bracket, which can be frustrating). And I'm easily intimidated by large groups of people, which doesn't help my social life at all.

And, as you noted, the frats/sororities are, well... yeah

Looking forward to the screenwriting class this semester. I'll know at least one die-hard film buff in there :)

ha ha, i can imagine us sitting in the back, heckling the professor and going off on our own tangents, and then turning in some horribly self-involved, overly artistic screen plays. or maybe that'll just be me? :)

i've actually only met one decent person in a fraternity. one out of about 600 billion.

Man too bad everyone at Mason is tragically boring.

i've found about 5-6 cool people. that's what happens when your school is based on lab sciences and business majors.
