New critters
Weeeellll we now have alpacas too. SO that brings the count to 11 permanent dogs, 1 long term foster dog, 1 cat, 1 lizard, 2 mini donkeys, 1 standard donkey, 1 mule, 14 chickens, and 2 alpacas.

So after taking care of Curly and fixing the fence, all the donkey people said to get a new friend for Seven asap. So Tuesday I went to a town about 30 miles south and picked up Rose. 9 Year old mule mare. Rose is trained to drive, plow and ride. She is VERY sweet ( Read more... ) -

We lost Curly last night. It appears he went to sleep and never woke up. I am remarkably upset about a donk that we only had 3 months. Matthew went out to give them warm water this morning and he was out by the outside manger. Matthew knew something was wrong because Curly did not meet him at the door. Seven was upset. Catching up...
So weekend before last my aunt (A) and uncle (H) were in from IL. This weekend my aunt (E) and uncle (T) from KS are in the area. So Saturday we are headed to see them in Birmingham for lunch.
