I just got called in to work tomorrow and Friday 1st shift.  Whee.  I love my job, I love my officers, and I love most of my coworkers.  But I HATE mornings.  With a passion.  Ehh I know I jinxed myself talking about rest.

We picked up 5 Easter Egger hens.  The plan is to put 3 in with one silky rooster (since the blue egg gene is dominant) and 2 in with another silky rooster.  They settled in fast.  Very fast.  Jack was barking his head off at them, but settled down after about half an hour.

Matthew took the truck to get 2 tires put on it and find out why the always low tire was staying low all the time.  He was told that the shop had not tightened down an axle bolt the last time it was in and the front end might be trashed.  Also a wheel spindle may be coming off (dealer only item).  I was supposed to pick up a load of hay tomorrow, ( Read more... )
