So my dad comes home last night and informs me that he has given up and will just let me do what I want but won't help me or pay for school. Okay cool! I get to get my money together so I can pay for it myself, hooray!

I want to do Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management, they say this is a worthless major and I should just go work at McDonalds. They want me to do anything that is a BA or something that you cannot do at all without a certificate or degree (even though to be a head chef you have to be certified and to run a business or get very far in that field you have to have a degree).

You know that if you can somehow get to Oxon Hill and back, the Gaylord will pay for your classes if you study Hosp. Management, right? That shit is one of their selling points for new employees.

Yeah I'm actually thinking I'm going to suck it up and take what I can get. For some reason he doesn't have a problem with Hosp. Management (which is almost the SAME THING as culinary arts) and I just found out about the Gaylord thing. Looking like I'm gonna register for Hosp. Management and see what I can get.

They have told me that as long as I go with something approved I can stay so I'm gonna milk it for all I can get and go for Hospitality Management (almost the same classes as culinary arts, minus the cooking classes).
