today was crazy. we got up at 5 am to go deep-sea fishing on a boat called the white marlin. it was pretty fun. the captain and mate were very nice. we started by stopping at a buoy to catch these weird flat-faced yellow fish, which was fun because we caught a dozen in about 45 minutes. um...i didn't et seasick, but i had a migraine, so i slept for ( Read more... )

apparently i have a new cousin. well, my cousin had a baby. meagan. apparently. i can't find out for sure tonight.

got up at like 10. had breakfast at the hotel, saw a lizard, got really excited. thought that the beach is probably closer to god than church, parents weren't convinced. rode in the back of a pickup to the cathedral in mazatlan for mass. it's pretty much continuous throughout the day. then we went to the little market-some cool stuff, some weird ( Read more... )

after starting a new job in the surgery dept of holy family and making it halfway through the first session of summer classes, i embarked for redmond for my cousin's graduation, then to mazatlan. my parents and brothers flew straight to mexico, while i got picked "lucky me" to go with my grandma to oregon first. god forbid grandma fly alone...even ( Read more... )
