I've thought about getting an InuYasha tattoo but I haven't figured out what I want yet, so I haven't. I got a Winnie the Pooh and Piglet one so why not?

I think that it depends on what you want and what it means to you.

Speaking of Tattoos, is the kawaii little ferret in your icon on your flesh or someone elses?

Agreed.

It's on the top of my right foot. Looking at it the outside of my foot is under it's feet, my ankle is to the left and my toes are to the right. I found a similar image on the interwebz and modified it to suit my tastes. I have another ferret around my belly button. :D

I like most bellybutton art, but, alas, I do not have the belly to carry it off. Or perhaps I should say I have too much belly to carry it off. :snicker:

Aight, the only two I think are worth having in ink are the first and third one. The others... wow. Technically really nice, but permanent body ink-wise... er.

IF I were going to get an Inu tattoo it would be based on Wind like the third one. BUT, I'd really want someone who was better able to put it on flesh, more like the Rin one.

Permanent and nice is good.
Permanent and yuck.....:shudders:

OMG THE RIN ONE
(I laughed so hard I choked on my pop. I don't konw why. Technically, it's pretty... but...)

It's okay, I'm almost as much of a nerd...
I'm getting two Piplup tattoos next summer most likely.

They'll be tiny, though - not like the huge ones those guys (and gals) have!!

I think the Rin one is as cute as a button, but it looks like it is on a male arm. Imagine explaining that.

....well, she's this little girl that's died twice, picks lots of flowers and follows around a dog youkai.

If I may ask, why Piplup?

Holy crap -- I would never have the guts to do something like that. (And probably wouldn't want to for most of them...maybe the small line-drawing of Inuyasha...) And really, I'm just not the type who could pull off a tattoo. Maybe a tiny one of the kanji for Inuyasha's name or something (one of those sort of, "you'd have to actually be as dorky as I am to know how dorky it is" kinds of things -- I'm big on that), but probably in a place no one would ever see -- in which case, what's the point?

Nope. A tattoo would look entirely out of place on me... (*sigh*)

I totally love this mentality - and if I should get one beyond the elemental tree I'm saving up for now, it will probably be something like that.

I understand your point, but if you are doing it for YOU then who cares if anyone else sees it. I don't understand people that get tattoos in places they can't really see them. Middle of the back for instance. If I can't enjoy it, why get it.

True -- but I'm not sure I'd want it in any of the places I can see...except maybe an ankle or something...

I dunno, I just know I would want to show it to people. There aren't many things about me that normal people would find "cool" or "daring" so it would be quite a novelty... (*grin*)

That's why I'm going for the outer calf. If I want to wear pants (which is most of the time) I can raise a pantleg to show it off.

I'd go with something small, but this just worked out to incorperate a lot of things all at once. Perhaps I can avoid the whole "tattoos are addictive" thing and stick with one.

Hmmm, I have to say, most of those are just...Wow. Also, on that last one, I think the outline of Sesshomaru actually looks a lot better than the fully colored in version. I mean, come on! Blue hair? Really?

I agree. White is hard to do, but I think that "skin" with pale blue or gray highlights would have served her better. Of course, if you have a tattoo that large on your leg, you aren't exactly trying to be inconspicuous.
