Boy is has been just beautiful here this past week!

Wow. It's so, so green. We have a ways to go before we see any greenery like that.

Except for the pet. We don't have those here. Thank God. Yikes.

The trees still have a ways to go before they fill out completely, but it's still quite nice here.

Don't like my pet? Hush you. :)

You still coming in next month? I'm thinking it'll be just a little warmer than now, but shouldn't be that bad.

I am indeed coming down there--I arrive Friday May 20, the meeting starts Sat evening and runs until the 24th. I fly out on the 25th.

I was thinking about a Friday night LJ get together in the FQ. I'm staying midway between the convention center and the Quarter. ;-)

I have some family in that Friday night so I don't think I can meet up then. But if anything changes that night I'll let you know.

Else I'm free Sat and Sun, and Mon and Tues evenings after work.

Well it's not like I have to rub HIS belly, though I have actually done that, and it's true they do fall asleep. It's pretty crazy.

And alligator does not taste like chicken. It's incredible on it's own. When you come down, we'll go find some.

Hope it warms up there pretty quickly.
