Finally, after three years of trying, it looks is if my 5 year TB grant will get funded. This is a big NIH grant that I started by lab with, and the budget crunch of the past few years hit us hard. I wasn't able to get the original grant renewed, but I did manage to keep the lab going. Now with this new funding, we can really go to town. I've been ( Read more... )

It was going well until Thursday afternoon, when I found out that the thing had to be in Bethesda by Friday. Happy New Year! Hope you all had a great holiday season. Got back from Ohio last Friday and have been doing the social thing this weekend. Things are slowing down today. Taking it easy.
