[Luke's stopped in his journey to take shelter under a tree, now that it's raining again. He's cold, irritated and miserable, even with the prospect of Van being in the village. This new voice just makes him glare down at the journal.]

[ Xion doesn't remember much of the week of their joint kidnapping. She spent most of it unconscious, thanks to some choice drugs. But she does remember, early on, that Luke was in a cell right across from hers. They'd tried to reach other, arms reaching out through the bars ... but, of course, to no avail. After the third day or so, he'd vanished, too. Which would have been much to her great concern had she not spent more and more time unconscious after that.

She didn't see, or hear from him, the day she got back, so she assumed he hadn't been returned after all. Which really only made her MORE worried. If they'd taken him away, even in the holding cells ... what for?

.... well. Perhaps it was for this. He sounds different. His .... his hair ( ... )
