[The handwriting that suddenly appears is very sloppy, but still somewhat readable. [By this time Luke is huddled up against the tree, trying to avoid the rain and wincing with disgust when a drop of rain happens to make its way through the trees. When that new voice comes along, he bristles at that first part, but he's too tired to fight against it. These people are claiming that the Malnosso did everything, so fine, whatever. Maybe they did mess with his brain. It could be why he feels so foggy right now.

[It's raining, it's pouring, but one painter is taking a casual stroll through the forest. Miyabi had been picking herbs, berries, and wild mushrooms in the drizzle, balancing both a bright, blue parasol as well as a wicker basket in one hand. It's really coming down now though, and with her loot, she decided to head on home to her apartment room, to use the stove there. She was larger today, just to stay out of the rain while small. It's not easy traversing the undergrowth when it's raining, after all.

Luke may see a sudden light in the distance, as Miyabi had just lit a lantern to light the way in the gloom of the forest. She hasn't spotted him yet, but she has slowed down, hearing a voice in the distance and looking around curiously. Did someone just arrive? It was time for new feathers to appear...but she really can't help but be hopeful it may be someone she knew. Someone, hopefully, from Nippon. Or even one of her taken friends.]

[At the moment Luke is huddled under a tree, wet and cold and miserable, especially now that he knows Master Van isn't here. The one person he'd be happy to see, and he's not here. Not to mention this isn't Auldrant at all, though Luke is having a harder time accepting that.

Tch, you could say that again. I'm lost, I'm in some dump I don't even know and can't get out of, everyone keeps saying they know who I am when they couldn't, it's raining and I've still got this stupid looking cast on my arm!

[He bangs the cast against the tree once. He's already learned from his conversation with Xion that he should leave it alone until he can get a doctor to take it off, but he's just so sick of it being on there.]
