Our trip to London (and the embassy) went really well. We took the train down, and the Underground while we were there, and it wasn't nearly as painful as it could have been. Cookieman did a lot of lifting of our stroller, as there aren't many escalators, especially when making connections at a large station. (Elevators were pretty rare, as well ( Read more... )

Don't you love how complete strangers have no concept of personal space when there is a baby around? Glad to hear they little guy is taking to traveling. My sister used to bellow from door to door and prevented us from going anywhere! It was horrible.

ooh yes I bet that made things tough. The dude is very calm (so far, knock wood, etc) about days out. He's almost crazy calm - I'll go to a playgroup or something, and mind, he's a baby and obviously can only 'do' so much, but he turns into quiet, observational baby, just staring at everyone around him. Then, when we get home, he's all smiles and kicking about. whatever :)
