My husband and I did the same thing when we were living in Germany for a while. We'd write out these long lists of all the restaurants we wanted to eat at when we came to the States for visits!
I dream about donuts way more than I'd like to admit. I'm usually walking around a big donut store with hundreds of different things, going nuts with excitement. :)
Yuck, that sucks about your tongue! I shudder to even think. Hopefully it is a short side effect!
lol yeah I was amused when I woke up when I realised I'd been dreaming about pizza. I can completely imagine dreaming of donuts. It's funny, too, because overseas you often will see donut-shaped baked goods, but they are never, ever similar to an American donut. It's like someone saw a photo and made them according to looks, not taste. :D
I think we have discussed this before, but my first trip to China we were there for 3 1/2 weeks. When we got to Hong Kong there was an "American Food Store." I bought Pringles, Doritos and marshmallows. Of course, by you the Pringles and chips are WAYYY cooler than what we have here!
haha marshmallows. I did finally find a brand here that I like.
Crisps here have great flavors, but what I miss are all the corn-based ones like Fritos, or Cheetos. I say I miss them, but it's really just as well they aren't available to me. I think I could easily kill half a bag of Cheetos on my own.
