The last couple of weeks have been interesting. I have been learning quite a bit at work about climate modeling, linux operating system, writing shell scripts, and a lot about myself really. Fucker! I'm so jealous! I might be going to Taiwan in December with my gf, though. She's going back to visit her family, so I figure I'll tag along. You'll have to tell me how it is!

Be prepared for a looooong flight! The Taipei airport is pretty small and crappy, too. I was stuck there for a while on my way back home last January. heh How long will you get to be there for?

I will definitely share my experience with you. Full travel dates are September 27-October 5. The conference will be October 1-3, including a poster presentation as well as a small lecture to Taiwanese University students. I am pysched beyond belief. Just have to roll on my passport quickly.
