TomTom is a brand of satnav, probably the most well known one. The kid was giving him directions in the same way a satnav does, complete with 'you have reached your destination'.

It is a bad, bad joke is what it is. Though bad enough, I hope, that a certain percentage of the children watching will one day have to have it explained to them that TomToms are not named after a Victorian boy who liked giving directions.
