You can't have the bat as an integration limit and the integration variable!

(If you're serious about the question, just set P.E. = K.E. One of these, hint: the P.E., will be position dependent (x, r, d, or whatever you called it), so just solve for that. I'll give you more hints if you need them.)

so....

integral from 0 to x of y^2 dx is just x(y^2), isn't it? I mean, the logic applies to when you're doing double and triple integrals, as far as I know.

Yeah except it doesn't make any sense to then plug in x for x and then 0 for x.
