Moved to colorado, studying engineering at CU.

Been here about a year and getting straight A's at a real college. Which is very reasurring.

Tinkering with algal fuels this summer in the labs.

Enjoying access to the mountains.

The disadvantage of moving back to your old stomping grounds 10 years later is discovering that you weren't there when most of your old friendes died/got arrested/overdosed/just plain grew up and left the scene. Right of way does not imply liberty to randomly jump the curb off the sidewalk and dart across the street in front of my motorcycle, causing me to drop said bike to avoid crushing you like a bug. Class act running away afterwards too. You owe me a clutch lever and 3 hours out of my day.

Today sitting in college, within 5 minutes a new kids on the block, cheap trick, like a prayer era madona and hewie lewis and the news shirt walked by. Moments later I ordered a coffee to the dulcet tones of 'dude looks like a lady' and almost bumped into a guy on crutches in a germs tshirt.

WTF.
