I've been talking about it for years. Saving money, doing home repairs, college visits, studying in all my free time. It was a pipe dream that i almost never expected to see come true ( Read more... )

Thanks mike. Is good for to be belive in. And i danm well hope i am changing hte world by 50, or it might not be around for me to retire in.

You've had plenty of work experience. "No resume" is what graduating 22 year olds have; you've got a fine resume. You've demonstrated you can work, and now you'll just need to tune it toward your future goals. Hint: never pass up an opportunity to do work co-op or internships.

Thanks. I just fear the translating "10 years of slacker oriented IT" into "Brilliant lead engineer" might be challenging. Have been hammering away at the internships though.
