It lacked conflict. That was the biggest problem, IMHO. I mean, I'd read, but then when I put it down, I didn't feel like picking it up again. I never like having that feeling with books.

Yeah, I'm both curious and worried about a sequel. We do have the conflict with Shelby, and then there's Grace's friend who's now a wolf, and I think there might be some conflict with Isabel. After all, her brother died of the cure, but somehow, Sam survived.
I don't know. If I read it, I think I'll try to get my hands on an ARC.

And I should note that the description is often in the eye of the beholder. So what's purple to some may not be purple to others. :)
