I'm actually torn concerning the two sets. I absolutely love the cover for TFoHaT in set 1, and while I DO like TDW in set 1 as well, I actually prefer (on a purely aesthetic level mind you; I haven't actually read the book) the current hardcover out right now. I would probably change my mind if I read the book though. :)
Also, a little fun fact, and maybe this is just some kind of hiccup, but I work at a bookstore, and we've actually had a hardcover with the second cover of TFoHaT that's found on the TPB. I don't know if this was some kind of mistake, but I was really surprised when I saw it.
Ditto the above comment. Haven't read the books, but the top set would make me pick them up and take a look, while I'd more likely pass the second set by without bothering.
I haven't read any of the books, nor did I vote in the poll. The only cover I like is the original for The Forest of Hands and Teeth. The blonde model in the original cover for The Dead-Tossed Waves has an odd expression on her face that confuses me. I don't really feel any emotion in the model's face (nor do I in the new covers for both). :\
Yeah, I just left the UK versions out since we can't go to the store and get them in the US. :) They are nice though. I rather like symbolic covers. :)
