I will be 46 years old.  I thought I would save, for prosperity's sake, some of what I have learned so far:

Yesterday at the DMV I almost failed my eye test.  I hadn't had one in a long time and sure enough, things have changed a little.  The last one I had was in 2005 - over 4+ years ago.  Since that time, my left eye has gone wonky with distance vision and great up close, and the right eye is great with distance and a little blurry up close.  Put the ( Read more... )

The friend that 'needed to get into rehab' decided that he does NOT need to go into rehab and that he will do things his way.  No conversation was ever had between myself and anyone other than the other 'sober' friend who wanted 'rehab' friend to go in the first place.

Yesterday I was not happy because of that whole medical bill bullsh*t.  It made me angry that my insurance was so crappy last year and I ended up eating about 80% of the total bills, plus the cost of my 'elective' operation at the end of October.  But at the end of the day I am grateful that I do have a clean bill of health and prognosis remains ( Read more... )
