Day 14

Neal had spent the last two days finishing the Degas, just as he had done before, right down to ensuring that the aging included immature micro-fractures.  He found it ironic that he was wishing Philip Kramer might get a hold of this one soon.

Today was devoted to the issue of the passport. )

Ah, that was a fun (well, fun in an evil way ;) read! And it was a nice touch that Neil came very close to saving himself even as messed up as he was (though it was also of the good that Peter got that part in the end!).

Summers was pretty evil, so I thought she'd be fitting as a kidnapping mastermind. I also always see Neal as being very self-reliant, no matter what, and since Peter loves puzzles (and will always find Neal) it all just worked out.

Sorry I missed this when first posted. Wonderful story; intense with spot-on characters. Loved Neal's message to Peter.
Sweet ending!
