My god... this is lifted straight out of practically every other shoujo manga in existence. ( And that is exactly why I like it. )

I have just finished ep 1 and loooooooooooove.

And I like JYH because he's pretty, a good singer from my limited exposure to his singing, and was the sole character I did not want to throttle in YAB but I am not a raving fangirl for him or anything. And I still think he did a good job. He's not going to be winning the daesang or anything but he did fine.

I thought he did a good job but I feel biased so I wasn't sure :)

Everybody in this is so pretty and I adore the pacing and the way it's filmed. It's absolutely perfect for watching in between the epic episodes that City Hunter churns out every week. So glad I started it!

Yup, the way it's filmed really pushes it over from 'like' to 'love' for me. It's like a nice refreshing fruit sorbet after the intense chocolate of CH.

OK, I am hungry now.

It feels a bit like a chilled out twdrama, actually; and I think twdramas are the best at doing youth/romance stories like these, so yay.

All that matters is he's taller than Park Shin Hye. Even if it is not the epic height difference of City Hunter.

According to dramawiki (though who knows how accurate it is).

LMH: 185 PMY: 164

JYH: 180 PSH: 163

I call shenanigans because the height difference btw LMH/PMY is waaaay more than between JYH/PSH. ETA: he's kinda tall next to PSH, I take this back. Maybe it looks less because he's not as broad in the shoulders as LMH? Perhaps I need to study it more by rewatch of shippy scenes?

In Material Queen, the leading girl is taller than Vanness and it is kinda freaking me out.

Shoujo manga is right, and I am enjoying for that reason as well. I grew up reading shoujo mangas, so this has a very comfort food feeling to it. I love school stories/youth stories alot too. I can't wait to see how the main pair's relationship develops especially after the end of ep 2 which i wont spoil but there is some development. I do really hope that this doesnt turn into the main girl falling in love first although that seems the more likely route, also then it would really be like a shoujo manga lol.

Ooooh, I can see her falling for him first, but I think it'll be mutual... he just won't realise it since he is a shoujo manga hero and is hung up on his first love.
