An unexpected comfort
The sound of my great-grandparents' fiftieth anniversary clock chiming off a slow little tune every hour on the hour while I visited is a very clear memory from my childhood. Starting over
It's weird to be starting a journal and not have anyone who knows about it. I kind of like this, though. My other lj just was not working out; too many people on my flist who knew me when I was young and don't know me now, and too many others who knew the worst aspects of me.
