I know, I hardly log in LJ anymore thanks to real life stuff as well as getting distracted by the Sims 2 and 3 (Island Paradise rocks but I need to get better hardware if I don’t want the game to freeze on me).

I’m fine….in a way
Apparently, I sort of overreacted about my condition. After going to the doctor for my follow up check-up, he told me I had no heart disease but warned me I am almost there. He also said that my heart isn’t enlarged either, but it’s irritable.
Since I had undergone radioactive iodine treatment in 2008, I more or less lost my thyroid gland and that ( Read more... ) -

The doctor’s appointment became a hospital confinement. I’m out now, but I was admitted at the hospital yesterday as I was already having trouble enduring the incessantly pounding of my heart.

Damn. I need to see a doctor. My heart’s either skipping a beat or has been beating too fast for my liking for the past two weeks now (or is it three already?). It was reduced a bit when I went to bed early last night so I deduced it’s because I lack rest. Remember the last time I wrote that Fluffy was sick? Unfortunately, the medication did not work and I was about to take him to another vet this afternoon but it was too late.

taking care of a sick cat
Fluffy is sick. He had lost weight and rarely eats and when one of my cats stop eating, I panic. I brought him to the city veterinarian’s office and had him checked. The city vet told me he’s dehydrated and injected him with vitamins. She also gave me medication to boost his strength and to rehydrate him. Administering the antibiotics is like a ( Read more... ) -
