I do see a difference betwen movie!Ron and book!Ron, but hell, I don't really care. I accept the fact that they're movies, and there's GOING to be a difference. And "wah wah she stole his line!!1" is just annoying. Bitch, please.

no offense, but in the books, ron tries to protect harry even though his leg is broken. in the book, he's fighting through the pain to try & stand up & help his best friend. it'd actually be better to have that in a movie then what kloves did. so, i disagree with you there. but, you're not the only person studying the movie business. i am too. so, don't act like you're the only person who understands this stuff. also, i understand where a lot of hp fans are coming from. if you're going to turn a book into a movie, make it good. don't cut out important things. only make the movie if you have the budget. they dont HAVE to make these movies, they choose to.

you make a good point but if you put EVERYTHING important in the books from poa and gof the movies would be 3-4 hours long and they can't do that.

yeah, i understand that, but they also didn't have to make the whomping willow sequence with hermione & harry like.. 10 minutes long. they could've included much more important imformation about the marauders. but, i really hope they did a lot of the stuff for a reason because these are important books to me & i just want the movies to be right.

You said it yourself in the first reply you made. The directors CHOOSE to make these movies. So, they're going to CHOOSE just how. It's not like they're trying to make people angry. They're make fans happy. Pleased with the work they've done. I think we're lucky as anything just to have movies even MADE on the series. The books are amazing and the movies are amazing. I just don't see the point in bitching over every little detail.

As for the Whomping Willow scene, I think that had a reason. What would the majority of audiences like to see? (And note that there ARE people who watch the movies who'll never both to read the books.) Would they rather see a fun, action-filled scene with a giant tree whipping two kids around as they try to save their best friend? Or, would they rather have everyone sit down and talk about James, Sirius, Remus and Peter?

I'm sorry, but you want information? Read the book again.
