It was on some random compilation album I was listening to because one of the songs had been on JuBeat, whose songs I have been slowly but surely and systematically tracking down. (Having these minor tasks and quests is one of the small neurotic rituals I have that apparently keep me going through the day.)

Today is my birthday. I am (3*1)*(1.concat(3)) years old.
Over the years I have developed 3 birthday traditions.

I've been trying to keep track of my "accomplishments" in recent years, under the assumption that it'll give me concrete data to point to when I try to feel bad about myself. It's that time again - the time that I remembered and got around to catching up to Eurovision, specifically the official music videos from this list. Here is my report:
There were 39 songs
- of which 14 (36%) were women asserting attitude
- and only 9 (23%) were at least partially boring!
The 80s is the winning decade, with 4 songs (10%)

Boring Immortality
I am never convinced by the cliche that being immortal - or even exceptionally long-lived - would become boring, or that death gives life meaning (nonsense - even with death, life has no meaning).
