I've spent an exciting Saturday evening looking at my credit report and paying bills. I'm frankly shocked at the utter positivity of my credit report given my financial, er, uncertainties over the past few years and the fact that I've definitely made some late credit card payments. The On Demand came back, and so I watched the second half of Brokeback. omg. I'm exhausted now. It reaches into me and yanks out these wrenching sobs that I'm not even expecting. I'm back. What a wonderful time. Being in Siena is like being home. I'm happy and relaxed and excited about things to come. Two and a half weeks is a good and long time to be away, and to be in my favorite place on earth with some of my favorite people in the world. omg you guys! I'm leaving in mere HOURS for ITALY!! two and a half weeks. I can't even. It's a beautiful day in my dear city here (I spent he am doing errands) and now I'm on my way home. I'm so happy.

the next two weeks
I'm home. New Mexico and Vancouver were amazing. I've been calling the latter an urban planning fantasyland, bc, really, is it actually possible that real people can live somewhere so beautiful and so community-oriented and people-friendly? not quite 1. Almost. Almost done. Jesus, but I'm taking a lot of stuff. But yeah - two climates, a wedding, touristing (maybe some hiking), and working, that requires a kind of ridiculous range of things. And it all really requires some sleep now.

wide open spaces
whew. Almost done. I'm currently burning a couple of surprise (thrown together) CDs to go with the Bruce and the Simon & Garfunkel and assorted other discs I've got for the driving. I've got lunch for the plane tomorrow packed and my fridge is mostly cleared out of endless CSA veggies. I've got a car coming to pick me up at 6 in the morning. I've ( Read more... ) -
