[In the Mess Hall, there is a young man with an open laptop sitting at one of the benches. Surrounding him on all sides are plates and trays filled with fresh baked cookies. Chocolate chip, jam thumbprint, and kinds perfect for dipping in tea. Baked goods of all kinds! How could such a wondrous thing have happened

He won't eat 'em so just take some!

You don't have to tell me twice! At least this makes the computers good for something now.

Yeah, hasn't the internet gone out? It's made this place even MORE boring.

Nah, there are plenty of things to do around here without the computers! I never could really use one in the first place. Everyone's all upset about the computers, but I think it's just a chance to get out and do stuff.

Like what? I play some sports, but you can't kick a ball around 24/7!

[littlestdeath]

Yeah, after a while sports get kinda old. Uhm, you can explore all of those hidden caves around camp, or spar with someone, or play with the animals, or build something--the craft hut has a ton of stuff you can use. I dunno, you gotta be creative.

I've already done most of that stuff! I've been here way longer than you, remember? It's times like these I almost miss going to school.

I don't think it'll ever get to the point where I miss school. And just because you've been here for a while doesn't mean you should just give up on finding new things to do! I'll help you think of something you haven't done before.

It's not really school that I miss, but the thrill of skipping it! And arts and crafts aren't really my idea of fun.

What's the point of going to school if you just skip?

Being with your friends? Plus it's required.

It's required where you come from? No way, that sucks!

You mean it isn't where you're from?!

[littlestdeath]

No! I mean, I still went because Grandfather wanted me to, but there were a bunch of kids who never went at all. It's not like someone's gonna make them go to school if they don't wanna.

Oh man, I wish we had that option! But no it's, stay in school until you're at least 16! Go through examination hell and go to university! I haven't even decided what I want to DO in university, let alone school! The only thing I'm good at is P.E. anyway...
