That is true--this place seems to be taking liberties with some of the labels. However, I believe that a great many of us are able to ignore these outward reminders and instead enjoy ourselves, praising what makes others proud. Yes?

The issue is that I have difficulty connecting to people-- even moreso, maintaining those connections. My inability to be a good friend has lost me someone I considered myself to be rather close with, and I regret it.

There is no way to reverse this loss? If you have ever been close friends with this person, they should both have faith in you and realize how you struggle with such things.
