I have, and... we have tried to make amends, but I do not think things will ever be the same.

As for my feelings toward them-- I am still trying to puzzle that out.

Yes. But he is no longer here-- and I do not like the idea of being reliant on him to help me with things I ought to be able to do myself.

According to me. It speaks poorly of me and my ability as a detective if I lack independence.
