... Yeah. He's kinda ... worse than usual right now, because of stuff with Stefan, but he needs to move past it. Which sounds a lot more insensitive than I mean it, but it'd help a lot of people, including him. I'm not Damon's ... biggest fan or friend, but Stefan did a big thing for him and he's kinda taking it for granted.

That's how he copes. He's a dick, but- vampire. Centuries old. Healthy coping skills are not in his repertoire.
