[barrel HELPFULLY SWINGS AROUND as she turns to look at you. It is pointing up slightly now, though!]

[getting shot sucks, but at least it wouldn't ... do anything. just stares down the barrel]

[she switches to holding it pointing vertically up to look at the barrel, makes a face] Sorry. [she sounds like she means it! but also like she's distracted] You'd think it would come with an instruction manual.

Yeah, camp isn't really committed to being ... helpful in any way. You'll probably only need that if you like to make friends with zombies. Or, um, some of the jerks here, but they probably won't be really scared by that.

... So maybe you should just keep it under your bed! When you get one, that is.

[abruptly tugs the shotgun diagonal across her chest, pointing up over her shoulder and looks very intently at Caroline, raising her eyebrows.] They hand out those around here, too?

It's not that hard to find one! But there's probably room open at the hotel, if you just want one of those.

...hotel. [assessing narrow of eyes, then she pulls a face] Zombie-land kidnaps me and expects me to pay for the privilege?

No, everything here is free.

Um, so the good news is the zombies are really easy to escape!

Then it could definitely be worse.

A lot of things could be. Most of the people aren't that bad here, though there are a few here and there and if you know any major assholes from your world, they could show up at any second! But other than that, it ... well, at least you came at the end of October! It's supposed to be a bad month.
