Falconry day! Falconry day!

Nov 02, 2011 20:20

[today on one of the more open areas there's a helpful set of pamphlets, clearly made for kids about the ~wonders of falconry~ perches for the birds, species info and all sorts of fun facts!

...now only if the birds themselves didn't look so annoyed.]

...

sounds pretty standard for the bird station at the zoo.

Unfortunately, this is neither a bird station nor a zoo.

It's for no real reason. Or, rather, it is an extension of a joke Camp is apparently still enjoying at our expense.

Wait, turning into an animal can just happen randomly?

It's quite all right. As far as transformations go, this is not all that bad. With any luck it will not last long, either.

[lifts and flaps her hand like an unimpressed student in class] Okay, so: if they just randomly poof people into animals, then how on earth is that an effective punishment for misdeeds? Step a toe over the line and we'll...do what we were going to do anyway!

Random transformations occur far less frequently, at least for most people. If we are operating under the assumption that this place functions with any semblance of logic, we might consider them warning shots.
