Falconry day! Falconry day!

Nov 02, 2011 20:20

[today on one of the more open areas there's a helpful set of pamphlets, clearly made for kids about the ~wonders of falconry~ perches for the birds, species info and all sorts of fun facts!

...now only if the birds themselves didn't look so annoyed.]

Good luck with that, dude.

About when does it usually wear off?

It varies, but transformations of any sort usually last no more than a week.

[whoa! hastily obeys, balancing against the weight]

Don't I need a glove for this?

I'll be careful, but there may be gloves around here somewhere.

Now that you've promised, it seems a little rude. [because that was a promise right]

I don't mind. *shrugs as well as a bird can, but, yes, that was a promise*

[she finds one but it's....way too small. child-sized, one might even say - as are the next three.]

This is getting ridiculous.

[because everything else has made perfect sense]

*shifts a little from claw to claw, but gently and being careful to avoid gripping her too tightly*

Camp is often frustrating.

I guess we don't get a glove.

[picks up one of the pamphlets, reads down it] How many five year olds are there in camp?

A few. *pause, thinking* No, the ones I am thinking of were simply changed into children by this place.
