But if you haven't experienced any side effects yet then there's a high chance that it isn't the kind of vampire that can pass on the vampire gene, or whatever it is. Do you know how many kinds of vampires they are? Not all of them can turn people. Besides, our mutant genes might combat vampire ones even if we were infected.
