"santa claus" is coming to town.
[The carnival is looking rather festive this evening - or at least, it's looking a bit more cheery than it has as of late. Christmas lights have been strung all around the various attractions, garlands have also been strung, and the cotton candy at the booths have been replaced with candy canes (with real sugar, natch). Another recent addition to the carnival itself? A lengthy bulletin that has been placed on poles all around the site.
The most recent addition, however, is a small fenced-off area near the entrance to the carnival that closely resembles a gaudy "Winter Wonderland" - complete with "Santa" and his terribly fake beard.
Clearly, this is all legit.]
