...Explain it? Well, things have different meanings and importance coming from different people, right? If you got a scarf from a stranger, it would mean less than one coming from someone you loved.

But if you didn't want a scarf, would it mean more from the stranger because they tried, and less from the person you loved because they should have known that?

No, everything always means more when it comes from important people. They were thinking of you too, obviously -- is it really okay to hold it against them if they chose wrong? I think that means you don't value them very much.

Why not? They're the most versatile accessory! You can wear it a lot of different ways, it can change your look, there are lots of different types, and they can either keep you warm or covered or cool!
