Ran seems to be settling in pretty well here. I brought her home about a week ago, and I took the past week off of work so that we could spend some time getting to know each other. She's excited to be here, but she misses her friends, too. Bedtime is hard for her. She doesn't like going to sleep by herself in her own room, not after being in a dorm

I'm sure she'll learn the language quickly - the younger children are, the easier it seems to be for them.

She really is a very nice girl, Cam. What she really needs is to go shopping. Fill up that closet of hers.

Please, like I didn't already take her shopping last week. The girl's got a ton of clothes now. I doubt she'll even wear them all before she outgrows them.
