So I haven't posted an entry here since before Halloween. Let' start there.

Back in March Tyler discovered airplanes, and from there it snow-balled into trains, cars, trucks, etc. Around Halloween he was particularly into trains, so I dressed him up as a conductor. This may be the last Halloween I have a say in his costume choic :o( Best part ( Read more... )

Oh wow, oh wow! Poor Tyler (and good job keeping your cool!). I'm amazed that he isn't afraid. Hate that he has that scar, but it looks as if it's healing well and will fade over time.

You know, until you wrote this it never occured to me that it is a scar. But ya, I guess that's what it is! Boo, my poor little man. I"m sure it will fade to where you can't even see it, kids heal so well.

First off, the train wagon is super awesome :oD love the craftiness!

OMG! I know you had mentioned Ty got bit, but seeing it is making me cringe *shudders* I'm surprised he isn't afraid of dogs esp since that dog is huge compared to him!

Ya, not sure how I'll beat that next year ;o) It was fun to do even though I was seriously lacking sleep!

We even saw a great dane a couple weeks ago. It was the first unfamiliar big dog that Ty had seen since the incident and he was great! Giggly and excited about petting the big dog. Very impressed with Tyler!

That's horrible. i'm on the verge of tears just by reading it, seeing the photos and thinking about you dealing with it, especially while pregnant & emotional.

Okay, Ty had to be the envy of the block with that train!!

In my next life I am totally being a man. He better be getting into shape for number 2. Lou has been on Alastair duty constantly for the past 6 weeks and our house is still a mess (and our dishwasher broke down when Joaquim was three weeks - what timing!). But I refuse to give up sleep to clean! You go Momma, you awesome mom.

And guess who's in the Moby as I type this? He falls asleep EVERY SINGLE time :)

You always surprise yourself at what you can get through when it comes to your babies. Someone had to hold it together and make decisions. Even pregnant.

We got lots of compliments and I love the way his costume turned out! Wonder how it will go next year? He'll actually have a real opinion by then. This year he was just excited about being a conductor :o)

Ya, at the end of last week I did too much housework one day and went to bed so achy. I have to get this house into shape so that I won't be worrying about it towards the end of my pregnancy. I figure if everything gets a good cleaning now, I can just manage with touch ups (like Clorox wipes in the bathrooms, etc) until my parents get here. Chris will clean if I ask him to. And he is good about taking care of dishes and the dishwaser. But if I want something actually cleaned, I have to do it myself.

Love it! Looking forward to trying mine out when Baby gets here! I guess i can't spend forever just cuddling and nursing etc like I did with Tyler, since he'll still need me too!

The bite just makes me cringe. I would have lost it! I'm glad you kept your head. How awful...

I just did what I had to do. I'm the one who takes the initiative and makes the decisions for Ty and health stuff between Chris and I, so I knew he wasn't going to do anything. Our first major trauma and I handled it well, I was pretty proud of myself and Tyler. We did pretty great!
