Another perfect effort from you, even in a new POV. I've seen that prompt a bunch of times, and I had figured it meant to have Britta miffed because she was jealous or thought the worst of Jeff's intentions, or something where she protests more than usual against J/A in these fics. I can't speak to dimensionallyt's vision for it, but you found a unique way to fill the parameters.

Britta's POV on its own would be enough to make it great, but you also included Jeff being different due to Annie's influence without either of them being aware of it [maybe not consciously], Britta being unnaturally honest as well at the end without knowing why, the usual J/A fic sweetness, and a sense that everything is both resolved and still unresolved all at once - though I'm almost tempted to start sequel calls right now. That and Britta, Jeff and Annie being so 100% in character, despite the changes they go through, makes it all tie together so perfectly.

Hope that the short fics keep coming while you work on your beast of a summer fic.

Thanks so much! Yeah, I really wanted to give Britta a different, but legitimate, reason for being mad at Jeff, even if she doesn't quite figure out why. Dimensionallyt requested "any and all fics where Britta finds out about J/A and isn't happy" or something along those lines, so I figured I had room to play.

And yes, more fics will be coming... there are an awful lot of those kink meme prompts that are calling out to me... ;)

This was fantastic! I love how genuine those moments between Jeff and Annie seem even from Britta's point of view.

And, btw, Britta's whole speech about Vaughan with the "DGB" and song about Annie's "Toes" was freaking hilarious and perfect. You really *know* Britta. This might be the best characterization for her I've ever seen in fic.

Haha, thank you!!! It's really kind of weird to have to think about purposefully getting details wrong, but fun. I actually had to go back to "fix" that speech, cause I was like... no, that's far too correct for Britta's memory.

Thank you so much! Writing Britta was fun. I really wish I had more time to write, that's the ONLY reason I don't have more posted. But I have a week off in May, I think, and I might just spend it doing a week-long fic-writing extravaganza. :P

I love this! I have trouble believing that Britta wouldn't be upset about Jeff and Annie whatsoever but I also think Britta doesn't want to be with Jeff and you crafted a credible story around why and how she expressed that.
